Responsibilities
Practice/Infrastructure:
- Emerson Process Management technical / application lead on Eloqua Marketing Automation platform
- System super-user to build programs, help with onboarding and training new Business Units to Eloqua
- Provide oversight to data management practices and ensure marketing database is maintained and enhanced according to business needs.
- Develop processes to improve the quality of data and the number of contacts that can be targeted for our key customer groups
- Develop and maintain Eloqua’s integration with other technology platforms (i.e. website) and databases (CRMOD)
- Interface Development, including usability, accessibility testing and validation
- Work with analytics teams to develop standard Eloqua reporting dashboards as needed to facilitate reporting by Business Units
- Build testing frameworks (split testing, deliverability and tracking) to optimize click-through and conversion rates across our digital media campaign portfolio.
- Provide technical and application support for “trigger-based” nurturing programs in Eloqua that target all stages of prospect development, from cold nurtured leads to engagement to closed opportunities to expansion.
Best Practices:
- Ensure organizational compliance to legal regulations concerning direct and permissive marketing practices at the domestic and international level (i.e. adherence to spam regulations, do not call lists, staying off of black lists, etc..)
- Promote understanding, continued development, and on-going usage of permission marketing best practices and tools, including Eloqua marketing automation system and Oracle CRM platform
Skills
- Experience and understanding of B2B marketing communications development and direct marketing practices
- Excellent listening, written and spoken communication skills
- Strong presentation, relationship and interpersonal skills required for internal interaction
- Ability to work well in team environment and global organization
- Understand relationship of sales, marketing and communications disciplines
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to understand technical drivers and resources as it relates to the support of direct marketing business objectives (i.e. dB structure, application suite)
- Proficiency in MS Office: including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Proficiency in HTML publishing practices
- Understanding of database structure and SQL queries
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field + 8 years related experience; OR Masters degree in Marketing, Communications or related field + 7 years related experience
