As we say goodbye to 2013 and watch all of the specials highlighting the good bad and ugly of 2013, I started to reflect back on my 2013 from the perspective of Topliners! What an amazing journey it's been, last year at this time I was working for our Professional Services Team getting clients up and running with their SmartStarts thinking about how I was going to crack 10K points on Topliners and just dreaming about the Top 20 and Top 10.
Here are just some of my fondest Topliners memories from 2013
- The creation of the of Friday Fun by our resident friday_fun man himself Dave Liloia - I still remember when it was first just starting and the absolute smile and joy that would come over me every time I saw one of Dave's random friday fun post come streaming in
- The best place to go check out new music thanks to Kristin Connell's Re: What are your TOP TUNES? - I think I learned more about music & my fellow Toplines by that one thread than I have anywhere else
- The amazing playlist - thanks to Ian Hutchinson's Re: Friday Fun: Top Tunes Playlists - by submitter - ok I'm still amazed by the technological feats of our Topliners!!
- This one is a double - the moment I realized we had to create new rankings because we had so many people closing in on the top of the points limit & of course the morning after I released the new rankings to see all of the post as everyone learned about their new rankings
- Of course the number one for me would have to be the moment I found out I was going to get to spend everyday with this amazing group as the community manager, followed very closely by reaching the Top 10!!
I'm so excited to see what 2014 will bring and fingers crossed maybe I'll even get to the Top 5 or hit 100K points??
