So, overall, Deltek was late to the infographics game. And the infographics our teams have created have been interesting - some good, some not-so-good - and I can say with confidence that most have not been optimized within any particular strategy... More like a "check-it-off-my-list" approach for both the creators and sharers... Truth.
To my point here... Our creative manager shared earlier this week that his opinion of infographics is that they have "jumped the shark," so to speak. I don't 100% agree or disagree. I would go so far as to say that I think they're misused and even overused... But I don't think they've hit shark-jumping status yet.
However, I also think that "snackable" video content could replace and/or amplify them in many cases to provide a more interactive, engaging buyers experience... Maybe leaning more to replace here as I've yet to see any statistics on infographics that match to what I've seen on video in terms of how much video can drive landing page conversions... Data, data, data.
I'd enjoy hearing from my fellow Topliners on what you've seen, heard, done, learned, etc... on this topic.
Cheers!
