1) What are my E10 options?

You have two options to gain access to Eloqua10:

  • Purchase a brand new E10 install with out-of-the-box configurations and assets,
  • Migrate your existing E9 production install to E10, also updating your assets and configurations to E10.

Contact your Account Director to kick-start either one of these processes.

2) When is the last day we can migrate our database to Eloqua10 cost free?

All complimentary assisted migrations are now complete.
The last day of the Update Project with complimentary assistance was May 31st, 2014. For more information regarding post-May'14 updates, please see bullet 8 below.

3)What happens after May 31st, 2014?

The E10 Update Team will no longer be available to assist you in your Eloqua10 migration efforts with the disbanding of the team. For post-May 2014 Eloqua10 migration assistance, you may contact an external Eloqua-certified Partner agency, or your Technical Account Manager (applicable to OCPS clients only). It is recommended that you contact your Account Director for more information.

4) We are Partner managed!

If you decide to subscribe to Partner assistance, your partner agency will be communicating with our Support team to ensure your migration will be smooth and seamless.

5) We would like to update on this date!

Please see the E10 Update Portal homepage for a list of scheduled dates. Migration dates are scheduled for resourcing purposes: members from different internal teams are required to run each migration.

6) My preferred dates are not on the list?!

Please select from the migration schedule published on the portal homepage as migrations are scheduled at least three months in advance for resource confirmation purposes. You may contact Standard Support team to discuss date alternatives in the case that your business requirements and functional requirements are impacted.

7) What do we do?! Partner assisting E10 migration for the first time

Please visit the Topliners – E10 Updateportal. This will be your number one source of E10 migration information. Starting 2015, the Topliners – Partner portal will be hosting Eloqua10 migration related articles and materials, so keep an eye out for those resources!

8) How much will it cost to migrate to Eloqua10 after May 31st, 2014?

Migration on the day of your scheduled migration is complimentary and free of charge. Services leading up to the migration will differ from one client to another. Migration service costs, including but not limited to database preparation and team training will vary depending on the work required from your Partner Agencies.

9) Update Sandboxes

All complimentary update sandboxes are now disabled. As of May 31st, 2014, sandboxes cost $1000/month for a minimum of 3 months; please contact your Account Director for more pricing structures.

10) What is the Update Sandbox Replication Process?

The sandbox replication process is the process of linking your Eloqua9 sandbox to your Eloqua9 production install, and then replicating and updating the sandbox to Eloqua10 for both database training and UAT testing purposes. Please read the Sandbox replication Testing & FAQfor the full process of sandbox replication and all other related details.

11) How to get your sandbox updated?

To initiate this sandbox replication process, a Service Request needs to be submitted with our Standard Support team. After registering a Service Request, they can then provide you with your next steps, as well as to coordinate with internal resources to fulfill this update sandbox service request. NOTE: please allow a minimum wait time of one week for the sandbox to be provisioned and updated to E10.

12) Will Eloqua9 still be supported?

Migrating to Eloqua10 is not mandatory. However, unlike Eloqua10, Eloqua9 will not receive new features or benefits but will continue to be supported by Development and Product Support. To take advantage of the new, exciting features of Eloqua10, we strongly encourage that you consider the migration.
