For a deduplication program, I may have 5 contacts from the same company. If the company is new to our database, I will create a new company in our CRM (not SFDC). The other 4 contacts need to have the same account ID from our CRM. However, if all contacts are process in bulk and check for existing companies prior to the creation of the initial account in our CRM, then each contact will end up with a separate account ID.
If I was able to pause members in a program so that they could not move forward until the initial record had successfully moved through the program, then this problem would be resolved. Is there away to limit program step membership to a single contact? Or are there other ways to go about this?
